The Portland and Seattle markets have unprecedented demands for independent cost estimates and professional services for projects like the SW Corridor, Rose Quarter, Abernathy, Columbia River Crossing, the Burnside Bridge, Sound Transit projects. Our firm has the experience of mega projects in the Heavy Civil industry necessary to accurately assess and deliver the above-mentioned professional services.

1994

Kelly McNutt Started Her Career

Began working summers and after school in the family construction business.

2002

Began Career With Kiewit

Began career with Kiewit in Denver Colorado on the TREX project. First experience with mega projects, design-build, highway and bridge construction.

2005

Sea to Sky Highway

First Americans to join the Canadians to construct the Sea to Sky Highway for the 2010 Olympics. Challenging bridge work due to challenging access and beautiful views of the sound.

2011

Relocated to Honolulu

Moved family to Hawaii to work on the Honolulu Rail projects.

2019

KMC Was Born

Took the courageous step to start a small business to support the Oregon, Washington and California markets. Teamed with Robb and Bruce to bring a full menu of technical bridge and marine construction background. We have all worked together on previous projects and could rely on each others skill set to enhance our overall ability to serve our clients.
